Proactive and Reactive

Nomadio Mesh software provides self-healing, ad hoc mobile network routing to computers, routers and devices. The software is self-starting and organizing and scalable networks of any size.

Based on the open source OLSR protocol, Nomadio's Mesh software includes a series of plugins to add self-configuration, management, reactive routing (Auto Route), location awareness, multicast and broadcast forwarding, and high-availability network monitoring.

Auto Route

Nomadio's unique Auto Route feature allows the mesh to automatically detect any attached computers and create routes to allow the machines to operate without configuration changes. Even previously unknown sources are added to the mesh and announced, and unknown destinations are actively searched for. This gives Nomadio Mesh software the flexibility of a reactive mesh, with the reliability and low latency of a proactive mesh.
